Our Youth Groups
Norwich Citadel has a busy Youth Programme with a variety of activities for young people of all age ranges. All young people are welcome to join in our activities. Please contact us for more information.

3-7 The Primary
The Primary is for the very youngest members of our church (ages 3-7 years). Each week our youngest core folk leave mid way through the Sunday morning meeting to spend time together singing their own songs of worship and learning about stories from the bible.

8-12 Sunday School
For the older children (aged 8-12 years) the Sunday School also starts mid way through the Sunday morning meeting so that our young people can engage in their own worship and complete their classes whilst their parents are are next door in the main meeting.

Junior Soldiership
With the grounding that the lessons of the Sunday School give our young people from the age of 8 they can if they wish make the choice to commit themselves to the pursuit of a Christ like life by enrolling as a Junior Soldier.

Music Sections

For those young people that choose to enter into Junior Soldiership they then also have the oportunity to partake in the Junior Music Sections that take part in the Sunday Worship and many special events.

13+ 13+
For our teenagers there are a variety of events;

13+ Discussion Group (1st and 3rd Sundays of the month at 11am)
13+ is a discipleship class for those aged 13-18 who want to learn more about the Christian faith and how it applies to their lives.

Cell Groups (2nd Sunday of the month at 6pm)
Cell Groups are small and friendly meetings for young people so they can worship and learn about God in a way that is relevant to them. Cell Groups are based on four key elements - Welcome, Worship, Word and Witness.

Youth Fellowship (every Sunday at 8pm)
Youth Fellowship is a chill out time for young people so they can relax and spend time with each other after the evening meeting. Sometimes there are formal activities (games, puzzles etc.) but often it is completely unstructured. The venue varies, so contact us for information.

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity."
(1 Timothy 4:12, New International Version)

 Youth Programme Aims
 - To help every young person in our care to develop physically, emotionally, mentally and
    spiritually.

 - To give every young person we come into contact with, an opportunity to respond to the
    Gospel.

 - To attract and introduce more young people to the programme we provide.
